Today is the day for: making my final "to do" list, giving my family last-minute instructions ("please don't let me be greeted with dirty dishes or laundry when I get home"), and packing. I dislike packing - the old fear of "what if I forget to bring __________ (fill in the your indespensible item) and they don't have it in the remote wilderness they call London?" I have procrastinated on the packing long enough, but I'm just living out the McHugh maxim (based on a caculus principle) which states:
As time approaches zero, effort and motivation approach infinity.
OK, enough rambling - to infinity and beyond!
Good one, Lori!
ReplyDeleteHave weighed my bag and I can buy 5 pounds of souvenirs. The rest will have to go into my backpack!
